Terrorists at the Gates? Open Border Leaves USA Vulnerable to Terror

The risks of a terrorist slipping through the unprotected US border with Mexico is real and growing.

Story Content: In the aftermath of the tragic attacks on Israeli citizens that took place on October 7, Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody has formed a coalition of 27 states attorneys general to pressure the Biden Administration to do its job and secure the border from the ongoing threat of terrorist infiltration in our country. Recently released statistics show that in 2023, U.S. Customs and Border Protection has identified 264 known terrorists at the Southwest border in the years since Biden took office.

Moody spoke of her concerns over the open border last week, noting that

“…The Biden administration has let more than 7 million illegal immigrants across the U.S. border—including more than 1.5 million gotaways and 264 suspected terrorists. Given the massive flood of unvetted migrants into the interior of our country, there is no way to know who is in the U.S. or if they plan to enact terror on Americans. Given the risks illustrated by what happened this weekend in Israel.”

Writing this week in the Wall Street Journal, former New York City counter-terrorism official Paul Mauro noted that, The disaster at the southern border has made it easy for a potential terrorist to slip into the country.”

The risks of a terrorist slipping through the unprotected US border with Mexico is real and growing. Even the globalist Council on Foreign Relations admits that illegal immigration comes with a risk of an increase in terrorism, writing that, A porous southern border does provide an opportunity for jihadist terrorist organizations to send operatives to the United States.”
